Gary explained: “For those clients looking at invoice finance solutions we don’t just consider the underlying financials and past performance. We go beyond this to study in detail what the client is trying to achieve, whether that be stabilising the business, changing funding arrangements or planning for growth.
He added: “We always meet clients face to face – we are a bit old fashioned like that! Helps us keep them very much at the forefront of everything that we do.
On the culture of late payments he commented: “This always hits SMEs hardest as they often don’t have enough short-term liquidity. Not only have we helped these businesses absorb the impact of late payments, but we have given them the ability to invest and grow. I am thrilled that this approach has been recognised by our industry.”
